The exclusive design Hotel Ripa is located in the renowned Trastevere district, one of Rome's oldest rioni, on the left side of the Tevere river. Since its conception the Ripa has strived to stand apart from the status quo of roman hotels.

Information on the area	In the modern part of Trastevere just minutes away by tram or even walking distance from the Vatican the banks of the river tiber and all Rome’s historical landmarks and shopping area. Rome is a vast 3,000 year-old indoor-outdoor museum where one can find ancient monuments, art treasures and architecture in churches, galleries and protected ruins. All at your easy reach from the hotel. On the other hand rome offers design, green parks, cultural festivals, street cafes and shopping to indulge.
By Car	The hotel is located in the heart of Rome’s city centre, adjacent to the Trastevere railway station. From the highway A1 (coming north from florence or south from naples) follow indications to G.R.A. Grande Raccordo Anulare) take the exit to the motorway “Roma Fiumicino” and get out at via della Magliana Trastevere, following the street for 4 kilometers. Once you arrive at the square piazza Antonio Meucci take via Oderisi da Gubbio and get to p.zza della Radio, turn left and left again after the brigeand go straight and meet viale Trastevere and go straight for about 1 km until you are in piazza Bernardino da Feltre, turn right at the red light and after 50 mt you will see our hotel Ripa
By train	Termini railway station is 15 minutes by taxi from the hotel. the train, takes you to and from Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport. 20 minutes train ride, from 5:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m., Trastevere Railway Station is 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel or three stops of tram n.8 or bus n.3.

The staff was great. The location was ideal. Breakfast was delicious. Big rooms.

Rooms although large, were spare for a 4 star hotel.

Advantages+

The rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is very good. In Trastevere near many good pizzeria's and in ten minutes you are in the centre of Rome.

Disadvantages-

The only thing we did not like are the elevators, these are very tiny and a bit slow.
