Relais Histò is an ancient masseria and hamlet, inhabited as early as Roman and late Hellenistic times. Now, the extensive but sympathetic restoration brings guests understated, elegant interiors that are a quintessential expression of nature and history, art and technology, land and sea, past and present.

The present is expressed by the CULTI brand, who managed the refurbishment, bringing in its own lifestyle concepts like interior design, fragrances, textures and all aspects of the person and the home. Homage to the past can be seen in the recovered materials and style of architecture, like the old manor courtyard and the impressive 1st-century SS Pietro e Andrea basilica, now used as an events venue. Guestrooms are located around the manor and the old spring cloisters; each one is a sanctuary with a view of the sea or of the cloisters and comfort assured by state-of-the-art technology. From July 2009, the outdoor pool will shimmer with the reflection of silvery olive leaves, and in late 2009, guests will be able to indulge the comfort of the ancient Roman baths, now being developed into a 1,500 sqm Spa indoor with 12 cabin treatments and an outdoor space of another 1500 sqm.
