Villa Scacciapensieri is a marvelous 19th century Villa, situated on the Chianti hills on the outskirts of Siena, overlooking the city walls and the Tuscan countryside. The hotel is surrounded by a large park with a swimming pool and a tennis court and features a restaurant serving typical Tuscan dishes and Italian cuisine as well as a Tv lounge with an Internet Point.

Tranfers are not included in the price and cost € 15,00 per car from the train station and € 120,00 per car from the airport. Breakfast is included in the price. Breakfast served in the room is subject to a € 5,00 charge.

Advantages+

Excelent staff in all areas. Reception, Restaurant and all service staff.

Disadvantages-

The swiming pool could have been heated. It was one of the reasons I selected this Villa.

good bus service into Siena, friendly staff, good/quick laundry service,

price of drinks at bar, noisy air con wasnt very effective, charges for cooked breakfast

The friendliness of the staff. The beautiful views and surroundings. A very peaceful respite from our visit to Rome.

great scenery,lovely villa and grounds, bus stop at end of property to get into town in 20 minutes or less

Disadvantages-

wished for breakfast buffet rather than waiting to be served
