Il Cellese farmhouse is a 200 year old farmhouse that is situated in the Tuscan area of Castellina in Chianti and is made up of 7 new, completely modernized apartments and a restaurant. The apartments have been meticulously renovated while integrating traditional Tuscan materials, such as terracotta floors, ceilings with characteristic wooden joists and exposed brick & stone walls. The extensive restoration was completed in 2007 and while the traditional details remain intact, the interiors have been fitted with modern furnishing and fixtures as well as high end appliances.
The large saltwater swimming pool (16m x 8m), is located to the rear of the apartaments, and has an enchanting view of the renowned Tuscan countryside. The pool area is generously equipped with sun loungers, tables, chairs and sunshades. There is also a shared garden area in front of the main building with tables and chairs where guests can gather.
The property is made up of 3 buildings. The main building houses 4 apartments, a lounge, and the restaurant. In the building next door there are 2 apartaments and the last building is a detached villa.
Each apartament has a separate/independent entrance.
All the apartments have central heating which makes them ideal for 'off season' holidays.

By Car From MILANO/BOLOGNA/FLORENCE take the A1 Autostrada (green signs) south towards FIRENZE/ROMA. 1. Exit A1 Autostrada at Firenze Certosa 2. After the tollbooth, turn right direction Siena 3. Take the dual carriageway towards SIENA 4. Exit at the first exit to POGGIBONSI (Poggibonsi Nord) 5. Take the left to the centre "Centro" 6. You will go up and then down to the town 7. At the bottom of the hill before the town centre turn left for Castellina in Chianti 8. Follow this road for approximately 18kms 9. Turn on the right to Cispiano 10. Once you have taken this unpaved road, follow it for about 1,7kms until Il Cellese Directions - From Rome airports - South From either of Rome's airports follow the GREEN motorway signs direction FIRENZE and GRANDE RACCORDO ANULARE - NORD (GRA). This is the ring road around Rome. Once on the GRANDE RACCORDO ANULARE head NORTH direction FIRENZE on the A1 Autostrada. From here it is about 2hrs drive. 1. Exit A1 Autostrada at VALDICHIANA 2. After the tollbooth, turn right direction Siena 3. Take the dual carriageway towards SIENA 4. Once you are in the proximity of Siena, follow direction FIRENZE 5. On this dual carriageway take the exit MONTERIGGIONI 6. At the junction after the exit take the right to Castellina Scalo 7. Once passed Castellina Scalo you will find after about 500mts the sign to Castellina in Chianti on the right 8. Drive until the centre of Castellina in Chianti 9. Drive through the town and passed it you will find another junction 10. Take the left to Poggibonsi 11. Follow this road for about 5kms and take the left to CISPIANO 12. This is an unpaved road 13. Drive for about 1.7km until Il Cellese
