Vignamaggio is one of the oldest wine estates situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico between Siena and Florence. Inside the renaissance villa, where the famous Monna Lisa painted by Leonardo was born, we have suites and rooms; the farmhouses close to the main villa have been renewed according to the typical Tuscan style. Vignamaggio is also the location of the famous movie, taken from the Shakespeare’s tale “Much Ado About Nothing”. In the main hall of the villa we organise meetings and incentives.

All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning and indipendent heating. Tennis ground, two swimming pools, children playground, gym and Wellness centre (treatments with “wine therapy”) and Jacuzzi pool are available. Horse back riding and golf are in the neighbourhood. The restaurant with typical Tuscan cooking is open during the week only for the guests. Short cooking classes with our chef Cristina.Wine, vinsanto, grappa and olive oil produced at the estate are sold at the wine shop. Guided tours of the cellars and of the famous “Italian garden” followed by a wine tasting are organised upon reservation.

FROM FLORENCE AIRPORT: Take the A-1 towards ROME and exit in FIRENZE-CERTOSA.Follow the sign TAVARNUZZE (don’t take the Superstrada to Siena!!), you will cross TAVARNUZZE, then follow direction to GREVE.
